January 2008 Letter from Debbie:
The other dogs are his siblings, they all came from the same mother. Car killed her about 3 years ago. She ranked among the most difficult diogs to catch and spay! In fact, I think I might put her second to only one other elusive dog that lives under a car downtown. I tried at least 10 times on my own, actually got my hands on her once but she got away. So I had to "rent" 4 men from the area to help me trap her one morning. Yes , I said "rent" cause nobody does anything for free. That was a sight! You should have seen it. People from

These are the pics of "Boy" who lives on the street, well sort of, cause he kind of stays in an abandoned delapidated office near downtown and has to survive the cruelty of the men who surround the area, but generally I guess he feels safer living on the road. ironic,isn't it? Feels safer on the road. Only in third world countries I guess. His eye still runs a little water but I put drops in it every time I visit him.
He seems more interested in what I have in my van though as you can see from the photo! :) His ear got a bad tear as well so I spray that every chance I get. Ears take a long time to heal but I make sure there are no maggots in the meanwhile.
the area began gathering after a while to watch 4 grown men chase a little itty bitty dog round and round a yard!! Finally caught her only because the men outlasted her. She was so tired and just lay down and gave up! I spayed her and a car knocked her down a year later.
