Freundlichkeit gegenüber Tieren kennt keine Grenzen

Animal-Kind International supports Fondation Alliance Haiti to spay/neuter and provide other care for dogs and cats at their shelter, living on the street, and who belong to people who can't afford their care. Life is difficult enough for people and animals in Haiti. By supporting FAV, the only animal shelter in Haiti, we hope to make it a little easier.

With the grant from Animal-Kind International, the One & Only Animal Sanctuary in Ghana built a large, comfortable space just for their rescued kittens. The kittens will no longer be living in cramped conditions with the adults and can have much more fun! The video shows the almost complete cattery, still needing enrichment items.

Animal-Kind International's grantee, the Ethiopian Society of Small Animal Veterinarians, held a rabies & education campaign during September, the first month of their grant project. They vaccinated 500 owned and community dogs and educated community members about rabies and prevention. One of the most at-risk groups are spiritual students who go house to house to ask for food, and often encounter dogs, some of them very protective. ESSAV paid particular attention to educating these students.

Ellis interviews Weedor about what she learned in the LAWCS Humane Ed Program. Weedor's dog Teddy is a lucky dog. Weedor loves Teddy very much and learned a lot in Humane Ed. Lion shows up at the end-be sure to watch! Animal-Kind International supports the LAWCS Humane Ed Program.

Bingo's family thanks Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society for curing Bingo of mange. Animal-Kind International supports LAWCS' to provide basic animal health care.

Beyan participated in the Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society's Humane Education Program and he tells us what he learned. Chewie is obviously enjoying the interview since he gets to sit on Beyan's lap. Animal-Kind International supports the LAWCS Humane Ed Program.

Our Animal Welfare Organization Grant Program (2026) awarded Animal Love Rescue Center in Costa Rica a grant to build the Green Hill Playground. This play area provides resident dogs an outdoor space to run and play, reducing kennel stress and making them more adoptable (more socialized, energy spent playing so they're calmer when introduced to prospective adopters). Best of all, the Green Hill Playground is a place where dogs can have FUN!

Tanzania Small Animal Veterinary Organization, TASAVO, is a 3-time AKI grant recipient. With each grant, their TNVR efforts and community attitudes toward street cats and dogs improve. For their 2025 grant project they spayed/neutered 344 cats and dogs to prevent overpopulation of street animals and the cruelty that often goes with that. A CAUTION: THIS VIDEO SHOWS A DOG WITH A VERY BAD TICK INFESTATION. TASAVO treated the dog at their clinic, and gave him a strong tick/flea preventative (vet care is also part of their AKI grant).
