Photo Above: Doggy Tuesday at the Twala Trust Sanctuary. Every Tuesday, Twala Trust welcomes about 600 dogs belonging to people in the local community. All dogs get a healthy helping of food along with some take-home goodies. Basic veterinary care is provided, and when more advanced care or spay/neuter is needed, arrangements are made for free vet care.
Reni van der Merwe (Bubu's Animal Haven-Namibia, a 2023 AKI Grantee): Thank you to everybody at Animal-Kind International. I am very proud and I think we all together did a great job! It became even better, nicer and bigger as what I was expecting. It is a little cat paradise and I hope that you might be able to come and visit, and see it with your own eyes.

AKI è l'unica organizzazione che sostiene il nostro lavoro di rifugio! Aiutano a pagare le bollette di cibo, personale e tutte le utenze che rendono la vita dei nostri animali sicura e confortevole! Senza il rifugio MWA, molti cani non potrebbero essere aiutati. Non avremmo strutture per prenderci cura dei cani feriti di strada o di villaggio (che normalmente appartengono a famiglie povere tanzaniane), non potremmo allevare cuccioli e gattini orfani e i nostri residenti K9, che sono spesso malati, handicappati, vecchi o troppo spaventati per essere adottato, non avrebbe una casa. Quindi ecco un GRANDE grazie a Karen, AKI e tutti i loro sostenitori!

Tutti ad Have a Heart e tutti i cani ei gatti dicono GRAZIE x 1000 ad Animal-Kind International! Grazie mille per il grande supporto finanziario! Molti cani e gatti non sarebbero stati sterilizzati o castrati, sverminati e vaccinati (sono sopravvissuti tutti all'epidemia di cimurro!) e nessun cane avrebbe avuto una cuccia senza l'AKI e le persone fantastiche che lo sostenevano! GRAZIE! E voglio anche dire grazie per tutto il supporto morale! Grazie per avere sempre un orecchio aperto quando avevo bisogno di aiuto o semplicemente di qualcuno con cui "parlare".
