It's been a busy time at the Twala Trust Zimbabwe Sanctuary, especially for the Goromonzi community dogs. Doggy Tuesday and the Waggley Tail Club are two programs that help local dogs, and both are supported by Animal-Kind International.

Twala Trust in Zimbabwe relies on Animal-Kind International supporters for the funds to purchase dog food for the Doggy Tuesday dogs. Beyond that, Twala can use AKI funds for their priority needs, whatever those may be. Usually the priorities are the Waggley Tail Club dogs (the senior dogs at the sanctuary), infrastructure repairs, medicines and other vet supplies, sanctuary supplies, and food for the many animals at the sanctuary: dogs, horses, donkeys, monkeys.

We--Animal-Kind International and our Partner Organization Twala Trust-Zimbabwe posted these stories and pictures of Doggy Tuesday, rescued dogs, and Waggley Tail Club elderly dogs, on our social media sites, but we can't get enough of them. So here they are again, in case you missed them.

Animal-Kind International supported a new solar system for Twala Trust Sanctuary in Zimbabwe. But here's the problem: In a perfect world, we would have plenty of money for a solar system while still having plenty left over for Doggy Tuesday food and Twala's other needs. But that's not how the world of fundraising works. Now that we've funded the Twala Trust solar system, we need your help to replenish the Twala Trust Pet Food Fund!
